Reentry Mentoring Program

A holistic mentoring program with a unique focus on healing relationships with food and land. The main program is six months in duration with participants often receiving support connecting to resources in the period leading up to entrance. Our model is based on mutuality and understanding that mentors can learn as much from participants in this process. After the six months, participants are invited to join an alumni network with regular gatherings related to food and land.

1-1 Relationship Building

Participants are carefully matched with a mentor, meeting over coffee or a meal one on one to connect around career aspirations, navigating community and more.

Small Group Land + Food Justice Series

In between each 1-1 meeting, participant/mentor pairs engage a series of workshops, cooking demonstrations, farm lessons, garden ecosomatic practices, and nature excursions.

Connection to Resources

During the program, support services are tailored to each participant's unique needs and goals. We partner with Rhizome Wellness Collective to offer case management, therapy, and health care access. The Ecotone team builds connections around career goals, and offers food security resources, information and referrals. Each participant receives a monthly stipend throughout the program.
